Uru - an upcoming psycho thriller film that is hitting theatre screens on June 16, 2017, has been revealed to be a thriller film without a ghost. Written and directed by debutant Vicky Anand, the film's plot circles around a novel writer who switches his writing from regular genre to thriller and encounters unfortunate happenings around him since then. Though the title (Uru means fear) and the plot give out vibes of a horror-thriller, makers assure that the film has no element of ghost in it. 

Featuring Kalaiyarasan and Sai Dhansika in lead roles, Uru is produced by Vaiyam Medias and has Johan (of Metro fame) for the music, Prasanna S Kumar for cinematography and San Lokesh for the edits.
