Uru, an upcoming psycho thriller film has been censored with a U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification. The movie which has been written and directed by debutant Vicky Anand, and was earlier supposed to be released in May, is hitting theatre screens on June 16, 2017. 

Featuring Kalaiyarasan and Sai Dhansika in lead roles, Uru is produced by Vaiyam Medias and is set in a forest with Kalaiyarasan playing the role of a novel writer. The technical crew of Uru includes Johan (of Metro fame) for the music, Prasanna S Kumar for cinematography and San Lokesh for the edits.
