Kamal Haasan launches the Bigg Boss Promo

Actor Kamal Haasan who will be hosting the Tamil version of Telivision history's most popular show Bigg Boss, launched the promo of the series during in press meet earlier today. The show which will be aired on Star Network's Tamil wing Star Vijay, is to have its first episode on June 25, 2017 at 8.30 P.M and has already created a lot of expectations among the Tamil Television audience. Speaking at tje event, General Managar of Star Vijay Mr.Krishnan was quoted as saying,

"We were extremely happy that Kamal Sir agreed to do this show..his first venture into Telivision..We think he will really break all the rules in this market and be the biggest show in the market"

Kamal Haasan on his part said,

"The reason I agreed to do this is to have a better reach with the audience..I already have reached them with my work..But this is to have a closer and more day-to-day reach"

He added

"I really liked what Salmaan (Khan) did (in Bigg Boss Hindi)..it was very organic and I thought this is something I could do.." 

To the unknown, Bigg Boss is a reality show wherein 14 celebrities will be locked in a common house with 30 cameras overlooking them day and night. The task is to withstand 100 days in the house by competing with each other and saving themselves from eliminations based on public votes.
