3 weeks since it first hit theatre screens on April 28, 2017, the sequel film of Arka Media Works's Baahubali : The Conclusion has acheived a never before seen milestone in the history of Indian cinema. According to the movie's official online account, this Prabhas - Anushka Shetty - Rana Daggubatti starrer has earned more than 1500 crores at the worldwide ticket window. It is to be noted here this milestone was earlier preceeded by the film's entry into the 1000 crore club beating the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's PK of 792 crores; which was till then the highest box-office record for any Indian movie. 

 

Industry trackers estimate that S.S. Rajamouli's visual splendour collected approximately 1210 crores (gross) domestically and 265 crores (gross) internationally until Wednesday i.e. till May 16, 2017. Regionally, Baahubali : The Conclusion has crossed 450 crores in Hindi (confirmed by primary distributor Karan Johar) and close to 60 crores (gross) in Malayalam, placing Global United Media (Kerala distributors of the film) as the top earners of a film in that state. 

 

With Baahubali becoming blockbuster of a brand with each growing day, it will be no surprise if the movie manages to attain the 2000 crore mark in the upcoming days.
