Rajinikanth's latest speech about entering politics and more - an excerpt

"If God wills it, I will enter politics tomorrow; If I enter politics, I will be very truthful and will not work with people who are in this to make money."

Days after this aforementioned statement by the ever popular Rajinikanth created a furore on the internet, the actor has dropped yet another hint of his foray into politics again. Touted to be his most forthcoming speech till date, Rajinikanth was seen issuing the some seriously strong statements during the last day of his fans' meet and greet that happened yesterday. An excerpt from the speech of Tamil Nadu's most celebrated star can be found below :

1. Apologizing to the media for not being available for a comment on his previous statement, Rajinjkanth reasoned that he had not expected his line to be blown out of proportion. He said that the social media discussions that followed his speech held him from issuing another statement immediately.

2. However the 67 year old star reassured his foray into politics by stating, "One cannot grow without opposition. Especially in politics, opposition is the base seed."

3. The actor also expressed his disappointment at the kind of language used by people of today in several social media forums. He said, "When I read certain comments on twitter, face book and the like I feel sad thinking why have Tamizhians stooped to this extent"

4. And to being constantly questioned on his ethinicity, Rajinikanth has this to say:

" I am 67 years old..I have spent only 23 years in Karnataka. The rest 44 years were spent in Tamil Nadu..I came as a Marathi from Karnataka. You people gave me name, fame and wealth and changed me into a complete Tamizhian. So I am a Pachai Tamizhan (meaning true blue Tamizhian)"

He further added,

"If you people ask me to leave Tamil Nadu, I will go and live only on the Himalayas but not any other state"

5. Finally addressing the elephant in the room, the actor made a statement on his political aspirations. He began by saying,

" You people have given me my life. If I think about returning the favour by doing something good for you, I fail to comprehend as to what is wrong in that"

He dropped his strongest hint ever by adding,

"I have great respect for my friends MK Stalin for his efficiency, Anbumani Ramadoss for his modern thoughts, Thirumavalan for being the Dalit's voice and Seeman for his warrior like thought process. Though these people are good individually, the system and the judiciary are corrupted and needs to be changed. The thought process of the people needs to be changed."

He concluded by quoting,

"In ancient times, the battalion of warriors for a King used to be less in number but during a war all men gather together for their Kingdom. And until the time the war is waged each man goes about his own duties and responsibilities. You (addressing his fans) and I have duties and responsibilities too. When the war comes, we will see; God is there."
