Thuppaki is #3 in All Time UK Box Office 

Vijay's Thuppakki is the highest grosser of 2012 and also has emerged as #3 in all time UK Box Office. Vijay is ranked right after Rajnikanth in the UK and Europe markets. This is proved again by Thuppakki's impressive 6-day opening box office collections. Thuppakki edged past another Vijay starrer Velayudham to become the 3rd highest grosser of all time in the UK Box Office. 

Thuppakki is also reporting good business in Paris and other major European cities where the movie was released. Another Diwali movie Poda Podi, which was entirely shot in London, could collect only £20,252 [Rs. 17.74 lacs] from 9 screens.
