Vijay 61 advances its release date

Vijay 61 (tentative title) which is the second collaboration of director Atlee with Vijay has advanced its release plans. Earlier the makers have announced that the movie will be hitting the screens by December 2017 or Pongal 2018. But, according to the latest developments, the movie will be releasing on Diwali 2017. The makers have also announced the release plans for the first look and audio. According to the official press release, the first look of the film will be launched on June 22 and audio will be launched in August 2017.

Vijay 61 has Vijay donning a triple role. The movie also features Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menon for the female leads and has A.R. Rahman handling the music. Vijay 61 is the 100th productuon venture of Sri Thenandal Films and has G.K. Vishnu for cinematography and Antony L Reuben for the edits.
