Except for S. Kathiresan who represented Kothanda Ramaiah's team, the rest of the winners belonged to the faction Namma Ani  that represented Vishal's team. Speaking the the media post the result announcement, actor-producer Vishal Krishna who also holds the post of General Secretary at the South Indian Artists Association was quoted as saying, 

 

 “Our team thanks everyone that has made this possible and the next two years will be the golden years of the Tamil film industry. A young team has won and we are giving a challenge to pirates like Tamilrockers as we will tackle the menace head on”
