Dhanush, Prasanna reveal deatils about Power Paandi at the Press Meet

Following the release of the trailer of Dhanush's directorial debut Power Paandi, the makers held a press meet with the entire team in attendance. While they took turns to talk about the movie and their experience, we bring to you some of the excerpts from the meet :

"When I first heard the story, I was astonished as to how Dhanush knew what went between me and my father. I think, in our place, almost all sons and fathers would have gone through the same. The movie will be extremely relatable (in that manner)."

"..The character of Power Paandi was written a year and a half back but only materialized after Raj Kiran read the script.."

Touted to be made on the real-life struggle of movie stuntmen, the film comes with a stellar cast of Rajkiran, Prasanna, Nadiya, Chayya Singh, Revathy, Vidyu Raman, Divyadharshini and Robo Shankar among others. The movie is produced by Dhanush's home banner, Wunderbar Films and will release on Tamil New Year i.e. April 14, 2017.
