Baahubali 2 to release in IMAX format

While the trailer of a blockbuster sequel Baahubali : The Conclusion is breaking the internet with the number of views its garnering (crossing 85 million since its release), the director of the film S.S. Rajamouli has annouced that the movie will be releasing in IMAX format, thus making his film the 3rd Indian movie to do so following Hrithik Roshan starrer Bang Bang and Aamir Khan's Dangal. 

For the uninitiated IMAX aka Image Maximum is a motion picture format that has the capacity to record and display images of far greater size and resolution than conventional film systems. This production venture of Arka Media Works will be digitally remastered into this immersive format and released across all IMAX theatres in India on April 28, 2017. The movie features Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubatti and Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles.
