Aravind Swamy calls out on the unethical movie promotions

Aravind Swamy calls out on the unethical movie promotions

Actor Aravind Swamy who is currently having a good run in movies with hits like Thani Oruvan and Bogan, is someone known for not shying away from being vocal. Be it the Jallikattu scenario or the ongoing political chaos, the actor has always registered his opinion. Very recently, a slew of promotional posters for Vijay Antony's Yeman have been circulating on the internet. These posters depicted popular characters donned by various leading actors, from their respective movies.

Apparently, these posters were made without obtaining permission from the respective movie makers and stars. Calling out on this unethical move, the actor took to his social media page to send out this message :

Have no idea why I am being featured in a promotion poster of some film which I have no connection with. At least have the decency to ask.

Going by this move, seems like the actor is in no mood to tolerate unprofessionalism. Also it is yet to be confirmed whether these posters were made by the original movie makers or are a work of fans of the lead actor of the movie. Nevertheless, this whole fiasco could be concluded as a promotional gimmick gone wrong.
