Si3 / Singham 3 - Box Office Report

Suriya's Si3 aka Singam 3 took a good opening on February 9, 2017 despite the huge disadvantage of the political chaos in the state at that time. From the opening weekend, the movie is reported to have grossed approximately Rs 20 crore in Tamil Nadu.

With Suriya's earlier films, Masss and 24, collecting around Rs 17 crore from the opening weekend, Si3 has performed really well, given the current mindset of the people. In spite of the mixed word of mouth, the movie is being lapped up mainly by the family audiences. With the focus shifting slowly from Tamil Nadu's political scenario, trade pundits estimate that the movie's collections will gain momentum in the upcoming days.
