Raees Enters into the 100 Crore Club

Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan in the lead roles, which hit the screens on January 25. It has been doing good business at the domestic box office as well as overseas market. The film has entered the coveted 100 crore club in 6 days.

 

The actual collections aren’t released by its makers, but as per early estimates, this crime action thriller collected around 7 crores yesterday and now stands with a grand total of 100.24 crores.

 

The film has, reportedly, set several other box-office records:
- It is the highest ever collection on Republic day
- And the highest ever weekend with two or more releases

 

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, His earlier films that have managed to achieve the feat, in the order of their box office collection, are Rohit Shetty's 2013 entertainer Chennai Express, Farah Khan's 2014 blockbuster Happy New Year, Shetty's 2015 family drama Dilwale, Yash Chopra's 2012 romantic saga Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anubhav Sinha's 2011 superhero flick RA.One and Farhan Akhtar's 2011 crime drama Don 2.
