FEFSI declares work-strike in support of Jallikattu
The Film Employees Federation of South India has declared a one-day strike in lieu if the on-going protests for revoke on the ban of Jallikattu. Around 10,000 employees from the federation are expected to join the people's rally who have successfully stepped into Day 4 of their gutted stand against the Supreme court's still-pending decision. Shooting of around 60-70 movies in Tamil Nadu have been halted owing to the Federation's movement. While celebrities down south are familiar with movements like these, one who was definitely left in awe was Bollywood director cum actor, Anurag Kashyap. His emotions were echoed when he sent out this message on his twitter handle:
The Jallikattu protest is massive.. never seen anything this massive and entirely a people's movement.. total bandy, shoot cancelled
