Aamir Khan's Dangal crosses 500 crore in World Wide collections


Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal continues to have a wonderful run at the box office at both domestic and international markets. Dangal" movie entered 500 crore club at the ticket window with its 10 days collections. The movie also created a record as Fastest 500 crore club entered Indian film.

 

The film has managed to collect approximately 270.47 crore in the first 10 days at the Indian Box Office. The total gross collections is around 362 crore. The Overseas total after 10 days stands at approximately 20.6 Million USD (140 crore approx). The total worldwide collection stands at approx 502 crore thus making it the fastest to reach that mark.

 

Indian Box office collection of Dangal has already surpassed Rs 200 crore on the eighth day and it is expected to cross Rs 300 crore mark soon. If it does, Dangal will be the fourth movie to achieve this target, after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. The domestic gross earnings of Dangal stands at over Rs 300 crore. 

 

The film saw a worldwide release across 5,300 screens, which includes 4,300 screens in India and approximately 1,000 screens overseas. Dangal has become the second highest grosser of 2016, after Salman Khan's Sultan. 

 


Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the "Dangal" movie received the best response ever for an Indian film from the critics and audience since the release, which is helped the movie big time to mint more at the box office.
