Suriya starrer Singham 3 based on true-life events

Actor Suriya's S3 might have postponed its release date paving the way for Ramcharan's Dhruva, but an interesting fact about the movie has been reported by various media outlets, that could intrigue the actor's fans. According to reports, a segment from the movie is based on a true-life incident that took place during the reign of late N.T. Rama Rao (who was the then chief minister of Andhra Pradesh). Apparently, during a highly chaotic situation in the neighbouring state of AP, police of Chennai were called upon to tackle the situation and bring it under control. We hear that this situation has now been reprised in the movie. 

Directed by Hari, the movie also starrs Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan. S3 has been scheduled for a worldwide release on December 23, 2016.
