Breaking the myth of not announcing a release date way in advance for his movies, actor Dhanush who has never shied away from flaunting his bond with his mother, has chosen her birthday (April 14, 2017) for releasing his directorial debut Power Paandi. The movie which is expected to showcase the real-life struggle of movie stuntmen has a stellar cast of Rajkiran, Prasanna, Nadiya, Chayya Singh with Delhi Ganesh, Vidyu Raman and Robo Shankar for the comic relief. Power Paandi also has cameo appearances by Madonna Sebastin, Divyadharshini, director Gautham Menon and Dhanush himself. Sean Roldan has composed the music for this film whose cinematography has been taken care of by Velraj. The movie is being produced under Dhanush's home banner, Wunderbar Films.
