Hiphop Tamizha's Saitji song faces trouble ! Removed from Youtube

Actor-composer Hiphop Tamizha's (Adhi) promotional song Saitji from his upcoming movie Meesaya Murukku has been removed from YouTube. This comes as a shock to his fans and followers, especially since the song had become an instant hit since its release earlier this month. In a statement issued on his Facebook page, Adhi explained that the video was removed following a notice received by the producer of the movie, Sundar. C. The notice declared that the song specified a certain community with the use of the word "Saitji" and expressed that it hurt their sentiments.

In his defence, the budding actor also added, "But the word "Saitji" has no reference or meaning and it is a common name or word used to denote "A BOSS" or a "Higher Up". We also meant that way"

However Adhi seemed unperturbed by removal of such a popular video that also happened to land him in director Shankar's attention. (The director has tweeted praising the song and its composer). He concluded his statement saying, "p.s. Dear Fans, relax. SEIVOM (meaning we will do).."
