Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham Starts Shooting

Though the official pooja of the Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham happened by the end of August, the team began its first day of shooting only today. Reportedly, the reason for the gap is said to be the lead actor's family commitments, who at that time was expecting his second child. Also the decision was made as he did not want to take a break in the middle of shooting. DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham is the brain-child of Harish Shankar who is also directing the movie. Pooja Hegde, who was last paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in Mohenjadaro will be seen playing the love interest of Allu Arjun.

DJ has Devi Sri Prasad rendering the musical scores and Ayanka Bose for cinematography. The film is produced by Dil Raju under his bannerSri Venkateshwara Creations. Interestingly, the producer is collaborating with the actor after seven years. They had earlier worked together in Arya and Parugu. Also this is the first time director Harish and Allu Arjun are working together for a movie.
