Arya turns Villain for Vishal-Samantha starrer Irumbu Thirai


Recent buzz in Kollywood is that actor Arya who also happens to be a good friend of Vishal, has been approached to play villain in the latter's upcoming venture Irumbu Thirai. The duo which starred together in Bala's Avan Ivan is said to share a friendly banter since then. Vishal even made a cameo in Arya's movie Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, last year. Arya on the other hand has made cameo appearances in the movies of all his friends from the industry; Jiiva's Siva Manasula Sakthi, Vishnu's Jeeva, Jayam Ravi's Romeo Juliet to name a fewIf this collaboration comes through, then this might be Arya's first time in a negative role in a Tamil movie. The last he played a character with shades was in Vishnu Vardhan's Arinthum Ariyamalum during the initial days of his career. 

Irumbu Thirai which is to be directed by debutant P.S. Mithran will have Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. George C Williams has been roped in for the camera and editor Reuben for the cuts. It is also being said that the team has approached Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music. The movie which will be produced under Vishal Film Factory will begin shooting from October 19, 2016
