Dhansika Starrer Rani - First Look Released

The first look of the heroine-centric Rani in which Dhansika plays a titular role has been released. Written and directed by S. Bani, the movie's tagline 'engal amma' meaning 'our mother' reveals that the dusky actress will be seen portraying mother to two daughters. Speaking on the movie, the actress had earlier expressed excitement on getting to do roles of various shades. Produced by C. Muthu Krishnan of MK Films, the movie has maestro Ilayaraja handling the music. A. Kumaran who was the man behind the lens for Dhanush's Thangamagan is the director of photography for Rani. Lyricist Palani Bharathi has penned for the tunes of the legendary maestro.
