Sivaji 3D Trailer launch on August 13

With digitally remastered Karnan getting great reception at box office and Kochadaiyaan 3D in the pipeline, AVM has moved quickly to capitalize the opportunity by re-releasing blockbuster Sivaji in 3D by end of September. The trailer will be launched to the press on August 13th. The movie is also expected to be roughly 40 minutes shorter to make it crisp and also cater to the non-Tamil and international markets. Sources claim that AVM may not have consulted director Shankar in finalizing the re-edit for the 3D version. So, we will let our fans be the judge on which scenes should be edited out by voting on the poll.

Sivaji saw the revival of Rajinikanth as Shankar set Rajini's clock back at least a decade behind. The box office broke all previous records by a mile as Sivaji saw the big names such as Rajini, Shankar, AR Rahman and KV Anand coming together for this movie. Many BO pundits claim that Sivaji's box office gross is still the second highest in India among Tamil movies even after 5 years after its release. There is currently a lot of expectations among the fans to see Rajini again in the shorter version of the movie.
