Theri to release in Chengalpet; decks clear for 24 and Kabali  

The long-standing issue involving minimum guarantee between Chengalpet theatre owners and Theri's distributors has been finally resolved after couple of weeks since the movie's release. The movie is expected to release across 60+ screens in Chengalpet soon.

However, the bigger news is that all decks for the release of Suriya's 24 and Rajinikanth's Kabali are now clear since both the parties have put behind their differences and are willing to release Theri. We see this as a welcome move, as Chengalpet is a prime area for Tamil movie market and it'd have done trade no good if the tiff remained in tact.
