Kapoor And Sons Trailer Review – This Modern-Age family drama excites the younger generation!

The much anticipated trailer for Kapoor and Sons starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan is out and had already garnered a great positive response. Even though the story seems a little outdated but the exciting modern storytelling could make it a worth watch.

The film is about a dysfunctional family consisting of Mr. Kapoor, the grandfather (Rishi Kapoor), son and daughter in law (Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah) and grandsons Rahul & Arjun (Fawad and Sidharth) who come and get together after 5 years. All is not well for the family as there are a lot of conflicts and disengaged relations. In this mess, figures a love triangle between both the brothers who like a girl called Tia (Alia Bhatt).

Hailing from the brand of Dharma (Karan Johar) which had a rough last year with films like Bombay Velvet and Shaandar and directed by ShakunBatra (The director of Ek Main AurTu), we hope this film doesn’t suffer the same fate. The trailer is engaging and might just be a roller coaster ride of laughter, tears with out and out emotional drama. Even the younger generation might a good time while relating to the Kapoor family, brotherhood and love life with sharp and edgier jokes than most family dramas!

Even the star cast consists of very able actors in Alia Bhatt, Sidharth and Fawad. The supporting cast of veteran actors like Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah also makes the movie even for credit worthy. But again, we will know for certain only when the film hits the theaters on March 18^th.
