Surya to team up with Lingusamy

We have some happy news for Surya fans. Surya, one of the most happening actor of Kollywood would join hands with director Lingusamy for a new project. Lingusamy after the success of Vettai was keen on making the film in Hindi and went ahead working on the script. The film however didn’t take off as Shahid who was roped in as the lead got busy with other projects and was unable to provide the dates.

The director has put his Bollywood venture on hold and has started working on the script for a Tamil project. Lingusamy had hinted about roping in Surya as the lead in an Awards function though he didn't reveal his name. The Vettai director who is known for his racy scripts has come out with action oriented script. He will be teaming up with Surya for the first time.

The film is to be produced by Lingusamy’s production house ‘Thirupathi Brothers’. Surya who is currently busy with Maatraan will join director Hari for Singam 2. Now that Surya has already signed Gautham’s project ‘Thuppariyum Anand’ we are not sure which film will take off first after Singam 2. However an official announcement is expected from the director soon.
