Maattrraan and Thuppakki will not clash on August 15

At this point, it is very clear that Thuppakki and Maattrraan will not be releasing on August 15th. The battle date may get shifted as late as October of 2012 for both these movies. Vishwaroopam may be the better bet to release on August 15th. No official announcement about audio release on the cards yet, as Kamal Haasan's starrer is still looking for buyers. Mugamoodi which will be releasing the audio on July 20th is expected to release on August 31st with Thandavam lining up right behind for Septemeber release. 

Maattrraan Teaser, Audio and Movie Release

Suriya and KV Anand's Maattrraan is almost ready with their long awaited first teaser release which is expected to be on air positively within the next few days. The audio is expected to release either last week of July or first week of August 2012. Given all the CG work involved in the movie, it is safe to assume at least another 6 to 8 weeks before the movie release following the audio release date.

Thuppakki Teaser, Audio and Movie Release

Vijay and AR Murugadoss' Thuppakki is also getting ready with the teaser. Due to Thuppakki title row, the makers have been lying low until July 17. Thuppakki audio is expected to release a few weeks after Maattrraan audio as Harris will complete the composition and mixing for his last song in Thuppakki. Since Thuppakki doesn't have as much CG work, the post production window should be shorter and pulling closely along with Maattrraan release date.
